Jounalism is to the World, what the leaves are to the forest.

Leaves are the most important organ of trees, it can synthersize starch through photosynthesis, so that to provide nutrients for the whole plant...It can be said that our world is based on photosynthesis.

Modern journalism was begun in 1920s, and it brought huge changes since it born. It allows the public to receive the news as soon as possible. Just like the leaves provide nutrients for the whole plant, journalism satisfies our need of getting information. Before this, the public just can get news by the way of chatting face-to-face. The rising of journalism speed up the dissemination of information, and make our world more connected.

Here we have a question, can journalism be separated from our society? The answer is obvious, can you ban your eager to know or learning something? Definitly no.

I'm from China. In our country, jounalism also increase fast. Just like we adopted the socialist market economy theory, we give Chinese journalism a "market".In this market, everything is going well under the supervising of the public and government. In this case, journalism won't intervened too much by government, and that the reason why our mass media is active and not vulgar.
